Subtrail

Coastal hiking trail

Soon you can hike along the coast through the whole of Halland! Together with Halland's municipalities and the County Administrative Board, Region Halland is working to develop a coastal hiking trail that will stretch from Laholm in the south to Kungsbacka in the north. We expect to mark out the trail on the sections Båstad/Laholm – Steninge/Halmstad and the entire municipality of Kungsbacka in 2024. Over the course of 2025/2026 we hope to complete the sections in the municipalities of Falkenberg and Varberg. The stages will be added gradually.

Trail sections

Choose to hike one stage at a time or to combine multiple sections for a longer hike. Campsites with wind shelter and composting toilets are available along almost all the stages inland.
